About this site
Costumed is a fan-made, non-commercial archive of film costume design, built for reference, appreciation, and educational purposes. It isn't affiliated with any film studio, costume designer, or fashion brand referenced on the site.
Submitting a look
Anyone can propose a look through the "Add a Look" form. Every submission is reviewed before it appears publicly — we may edit submissions lightly for formatting or consistency, and we reserve the right to decline or remove any submission at our discretion, including after it's already been published.
Only submit what you have the right to share
When submitting an image link, please only use images you have the right to link to. Costumed doesn't host or store submitted images itself — the "Image URL" field just links to wherever the image already lives online. If you're not sure you have the right to share an image, don't submit it.
Copyright
Film stills, costume photography, and other visual references shown on this site are used for commentary, reference, and educational purposes. All rights to the underlying costume designs, film stills, and photography belong to their original creators, studios, and photographers. If you're a rights holder and want something removed, email costumedarchive@outlook.com and we'll respond promptly.
No warranty
Costumed is a personal project maintained on a best-effort basis. Information is provided for reference purposes and accuracy isn't guaranteed — designer credits, dates, and other details are compiled from public sources and community submissions, and may occasionally be incomplete or incorrect.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the project grows. The version posted here is always the current one.
